Having come to the end of our summer break from the usual activities at church, things are beginning to ramp back into action this week. Everything will be kicking off in earnest on Saturday, with our men’s breakfast (a men’s bible study with a bacon roll in hand) and food club (our food security programme for the local community). It also means, as of this coming Sunday, we will be resuming our weekly theological bible study on Sunday mornings.
This gives me a fresh opportunity to re-post the article below on why we have a weekly theology breakfast and what we aim to cover in it. In short, we run a two-year syllabus that is accessible to anybody who wants to come that gives a grounding in systematics, biblical theology, historical theology, ecclesiology and hermeneutics. Anybody can come and if they remain on the course for the full 2 years, they will have covered these tracks.
But click on the article below to find out more about why we do it, what we do in it and what we cover.
