I was sad to read about Don Carson’s recent health struggles. You can read a little about the background here. I only wanted to share one very brief thing, quoting directly what he said:

I am not suffering from anything that a good general resurrection can’t fix.

I have little to add. I just thought, what hope he – and all of us who believe in the Lord Jesus – really have.

Sad though the news of his deteriorating health is, how encouraging it is to know that for those of us in Jesus, all these things will be fixed and there is a great hope to come.
